Can I store my guns or firearms at your location?

Yes, we can safely store your firearms for the following reasons:

• Traveling outside of the country for an extended period of time
• Military personnel overseas orders
• Temporarily moving out of state
• Served with a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO)
• Been contacted by law enforcement and given 24 hours to relinquish possession of firearms
• Firearms purchase transfers
• Private party transfers
• Pending Estate/Probate Sell

How much does it cost to store my firearms?

Monthly storage fee is $45 for each gun stored. Processing fee is included in the monthly storeage fee.

What is the process to storing my firearms?

Steps to take:

1. Call Lock’d & Stock’d Firearms at 804-237-9120 and inform us that you will be transporting firearm(s) to our facility.
2. All firearrms will need to be transported to our facility “UNLOADED”.
3. All guns will be required to be in a hard case, zippered bag or box that completely conceals contents before entering our facility.
4. Sign a Storage Agreement & Setup Automatic Monthly Payment. If applicable, we will provide you with legal proof that your guns or firearms are no longer in your possession.
5. You will receive a monthly emailed receipt to confirm payment received for storage of firearms.

What if I have been ordered to remove all guns from my home within 24 hours?

If you have been ordered to remove all guns from your home within 24 hours by a law enforcement agency or court order, then you need to act immediately. Contact Lock’d & Stock’d Firearms at 804-237-9120 and inform us that you will be transporting firearm(s) to our facility.

How much does it cost to store my ammunition?

Monthly storage fee is $45 per month for up to 500 rounds; $55 per month for 500-1000 rounds. Processing fee is included in storage fee.

How long can I store my firearms at Lock’d & Stock’d Firearms facility?

You can store your guns for up to two years.

I will be traveling for 14 days and need to store my firearms. Will I still be required to pay the monthly storage fee?

No, the monthly storage fee will be prorated by the number of days storage is needed when firearms are stored less than 28 days.

What is the process to receive my firearm back?

To receive your firearm back you are required to complete a background check and provide a Virgina state drivers license (Real ID), if you do not have a Real ID you can provide a passport, birth certificate, vehicle registration, or utility bill with your name on it as proof of residency. Please contact Lock’d & Stock’d at least 48 hours in advanced to schedule a pickup date/time to retrieve firearms back.

What if I am unable to receive my firearm back?

If you are unable to comply with federal, state, or local laws to retreive your firearm back or default on monthly storage payments, your firearm will be listed for consignment. Once sold, the original owner will receive 65% of the sale proceeds and Lock’d & Stock’d will retain 35% of the proceeds for administrative and transfer fees.
